“A really strange family”

“A really strange family has come to our neighborhood. The father has a long white 

beard and he always wears a black suit and a black hat. The mother looks through the 

window all day, but she never goes out.

They have two children, a son and a daughter; however, I hardly ever see them.

My mother says that we have to visit them, but I don’t think I’ll do that.

I’m afraid of our neighbors”

This story I wrote a lot of years ago, when I was a kid. They were actors and they were 

shooting a film.

Una familia realmente extraña

“Una familia muy extraña ha venido a nuestro vecindario.

El padre tiene una barba larga y blanca y siempre viste traje negro y  sombrero negro. 

La madre mira a través de la ventana todo el día, pero nunca sale.

Tienen dos niños, un hijo y una hija, sin embargo, casi nunca los veo.

Mi madre dice que tenemos que visitarlos, pero yo no pienso hacerlo. Tengo miedo de 

nuestros vecinos”

Esta historia la escribí hace muchos años, cuando era un niño. Ellos eran actores y 

estaban grabando una película.
